After winning the initial stage in the Grade 3 California Dreamin’ Series, Nicole Breault and her Vela Racing team toppled seven other teams on March 4-5 to claim the second event in San Francisco, CA. Sailing in J/22s, Breault’s crew of Molly O’Bryan Vandemoer, Karen Loutzenheiser and Maggie Bacon went 13-1 in the double round robin format, with Scott Decurtis (11–3) in second and Sidney Gathrid (10–4) in third.
