The Lake George Club rolled out the red carpet for the J/22 Northeast Championship from September 23-25. The regatta is popular for both American sailors as well as Canadian teams—nearly half the fleet came from Canada. However, it was American Kirk Reynolds’ crew on DELICIA that simply dominated in the six-race/one-discard series, and won with the extraordinary tally of six straight firsts. Taking second was Victor Snyder’s MO’MONEY with a 3-2-2-4-4-5 record for 15 points net. Third went to Michele Cimon’s RAISED J team with a 6-3-7-10-2-2 for a 20 points net.
