Cleveland Race Week started June 15-17 on the waters of Lake Erie, hosted by Edgewater Yacht Club for its one-design weekend. In the seven-boat J/22 fleet, Ryan Lashaway’s DEUCE team posted a 1-2-1-1 tally for 5 points and the clear win. It was really a battle for the balance of the podium. In the end, it was Jason Goscha’s DOUBLE-J that took the silver with a consistent 4-3-4-2 for 13 points. Third was Anna Huebschmann’s ESCAPE with an equally consistent scoreline of 3-6-2-6 for 17 points. Tim Vining’s J/22 DEUCE won the Doublehanded JAM division (just jibs & mains).
