Thanks to Tim Johnson for this report: I was the regatta chair at the DCYC Heritage Cup this past weekend. It was the first event of 2020 for the Texas J/24s, and we had 15 J/24s and 11 J/22s from all over Texas. All total, there were 72 boats at the event, which was more than twice the number we had hoped for. The breeze was light both days but stronger on Sunday, and there was some great racing throughout the fleets. Everything was outdoors with social distancing intact.
